Virtua Fighter Animation (known as Virtua Fighter Mini in Japan) is a 2D fighting game, developed by Aspect and published by Sega for Sega Game Gear in 1996. It is based on the Virtua Fighter anime by TV Tokyo plus TMS Entertainment and it follows the plot from the TV original. In Japan, the game is known for getting its Kid's Gear themed bundle.
A Sega Master System port of the game was released in 1997 only in Brazil by Sega's Brazilian distributor, TecToy. It features a versus mode without the need of linking to one system to another. However, unlike Japan and United States, Brazil never received a dub of the Virtua Fighter anime, which is a strange choice of release.
