The Missile Ganigani (derived from its internal name enm_MissileGanigani) is a crab-based Badnik featured in the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World and later returning in its PC version. It is a variant of Crabmeat capable of shooting missiles, and it sports a nearly identical appearance, with differences being their orange color and longer claws. While Missile Ganigani have this ability, Crabmeats in other appearances can also shoot missiles, such as in Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Frontiers.

Overview[edit]

A screenshot of a Missile Ganigani

Missile Ganigani can be found exclusively in Frozen Factory Zone 2 and Lava Mountain Zone 3, where they attempt to attack Sonic by shooting missiles at him. Like regular Crabmeats, the player has to use the Flying Kick to flip a Missile Ganigani over and make them vulnerable to attack. Trying to attack them without kicking them first will cause them to counter Sonic's attack with a punch. When Sonic turns himself into a large snowball in Frozen Factory Zone 2, Missile Ganiganis will try to fire their missiles towards the player. These missiles are able to destroy the whole snowball and the player will automatically loses a life, if they have not collected all the Rings sticking to the snowball at previous Star Post.

Powers and abilities[edit]

Missile Ganiganis are able to shoot homing missiles from their claws in-order to damage enemies. Like the regular Crabmeats, Missile Ganigani is also able to counter most attacks with a punch to help protect themselves (although if they are toppled over from a Flying Kick, they will be susceptible to getting harmed).
