Egg Flappers, also named Flappers, are one of several Badnik enemies created by Dr. Eggman, and are specifically a part of the Pawn Series. Egg Flappers made their first appearance in Sonic Heroes along with their relatives, Egg Pawns. Egg Flappers are usually weak aerial sentry drones that only get in the way, but different colors exist with weaponry such as machine guns, lasers, or bombs. They resemble Egg Pawns, but can fly via airplane-like attachments. Egg Flappers do not generally appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, with their role typically going to Spinners, which predate them.

Egg Flappers have a bomb-carrying variant known as Bomb Flappers, although they rarely make any appearances.
