Borench is a puzzle game, developed and published by Sega for Arcade machines in 1990. It runs on the Sega System C2 hardware, which is essentially a Sega Genesis with several hardware improvements. In this game, players must help an auto-moving ball to reach safely to the goal in a course without any directional bumpers. By pressing the Left button, players can direct the ball with diagonal bumpers to not allow the ball to go outside the course or get soft-locked by letting the ball run into a diagonal bumper that does not rebound in the corners. By holding the Right button, one can make the ball run faster and get points quicker. During the courses, players can manage to drive the ball to catch the ? symbols in order to get random amounts of points.
